Tear Pad

HIV and Other Important Pregnancy Tests (also available in Spanish) is a convenient to use tear-off notepad with a summary of common prenatal blood tests that answers frequently asked questions about HIV. These tear sheets may satisfy the patient information requirements for prenatal HIV testing in states allowing the opt-out testing approach.

Both English and Spanish versions of the tear pad may be purchased from the College Bookstore.

Script Card

Physician Script on Perinatal HIV Screening is a laminated information card with a suggested script to help providers when notifying pregnant women about HIV testing in states allowing the opt-out testing approach. A script card is included with all Tear Pad purchases.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

HIV and Pregnancy is a patient education document that presents current information about HIV infection in pregnancy in an easy to read question and answer format that includes a glossary of key terms. FAQs may be downloaded and reproduced for personal use.

HIV and Pregnancy also is available as a patient education pamphlet in English (AP113) and Spanish (SP113). These pamphlets may be purchased from the College Bookstore.
