Surveys & Research

Prevention, testing, treatment, and vaccine research are weapons in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

Since the early 2000s the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists has been conducting HIV testing research and surveying member physicians and other women’s health care providers about their HIV testing practices— initially related to testing pregnant women, and more recently, concerning HIV screening as a component of routine gynecologic care.

New and groundbreaking research from other agencies and institutions also is included here.
